Omar typically rises at 05:00, eats a couple of scoops of dry cat food for breakfast, lounges around the house, plays in the backyard, naps on the trampoline and eats raw kangaroo meat for dinner.

Brilliant.

Think he's finally mastered the "Hello ladies. You see, you like? You want to touch?"

Looks like baws and fanny. Nothing wrong with that, tell him/her from me. Rainbows etc.

My cat brought a fully alive blackbird home last night. I heard a bit of a commotion outside and when I went out the back I saw her walking towards the back door with a bird in her mouth, the bird was flapping its wings right in her face but she brushed these off as if they were water (although if it had actually been water she would've ran away of course).

Anyway she strolls towards me and drops the bird right in front me and then proceed to hold it down with one front paw and just starting jabbing at it as if she was Mohammed Ali with the other paw, I felt as if she was trying to prove how solid she was.

I chased her away and the bird half-heartedly flew away but I doubt it would've gotten far.

Sounds like you intervened as soon as you could and done all that was possible. (Or watched your cat kill a bird then lobbed it over the fence in to the neighbours garden).

Cats sometimes like to just show off their handiwork. My old cat brought in a magpie one day. Hell of a racket. He just roughed it up a bit rather that ripping it apart.
