His brand of sectarian divide and rule tactics don't go down too well outside of the WoS.

On please, his bullshit doesn't go down anywhere in Scotland, that's why he failed to get elected as an MSP.

Also, his daft show managed to attract an audience in Dundee

And what evidence does he have of this?

I can understand the argument that Scotland isn't like the other states he supports, but I still can't understand why he thinks its in our best interests to be part of the UK, when he's made a career out of running down the British government.

He doesn't need evidence! It's George Galloway for goodness sakes. He just KNOWS.

When I first became involved in Labour Party politics in Dundee (37 years ago or so) he was a firm advocate of an independent United Ireland. He was also, supposedly, an avowed Marxist.

Oh how things change.

Just watched Jim Sillars on TV. That's a proper socialist. A man with real integrity and a genuine care and compassion for the working class. A real shame that he and Salmond fell out, he would have been an outstanding figure at Holyrood.

Sillars is a difficult man- a fact that his political journey from ILP to his own "Labour" outfit in the late 70s, to Nationalist, to subsequent oblivion,, should tell you.

He was talented, but very flawed. He'd cause a row in an empty house.

I doubt he's changed in those views.

Regarding Jim Sillars, he HATES Alex Salmond. Properly hates him. It must tear him up that Salmond has done more for the SNP than he ever would and that Salmond, basically, has been proved right. If Salmond loses the referendum put your money on Sillars popping up on election night to entirely blame Salmond for it. In fact, we should have a sweep on P&B.

George Galloway recently tweeted the following

No Muslim will ever vote for the Liberal Democrats anywhere ever unless they ditch the provocateur Majid Nawaz, cuckold of the EDL.

George Galloway really is the most odious man in public life. The tone of his tweet, the grubby sexual imagery, the put-on piety.

If he gave an undertaking that he'd never return to Scotland following independence I'd volunteer for the Yes campaign.

galloway is a p***k if you disagree with this statement you are also a p***k, and it is time to re-evaluate your opinions on most things.

Never have I agreed with a St Mirren fan more.

Well played, sir.

Galloway's contribution at the Senate hearings was one of the most enjoyable things I have ever watched. I doubt US imperialist pomp and hubris will ever be publicly deflated to such an extent again.

Usual sectarian dog whistling that we've come to expect from the indefatigable George.

Vile man and an embarrassment to Scotland.
