I can understand the argument that Scotland isn't like the other states he supports, but I still can't understand why he thinks its in our best interests to be part of the UK, when he's made a career out of running down the British government. Sillars is a difficult man- a fact that his political journey from ILP to his own "Labour" outfit in the late 70s, to Nationalist, to subsequent oblivion,, should tell you. It must tear him up that Salmond has done more for the SNP than he ever would and that Salmond, basically, has been proved right. If Salmond loses the referendum put your money on Sillars popping up on election night to entirely blame Salmond for it. In fact, we should have a sweep on P&B.
