Genuinely amusing and interesting stuff. You can see that sort of thing in Govan most weekends.

19QOS19
Never knew they were called the wet bandits but wouldve guessed home alone. That's why they flooded places. And in New York they changed to The Sticky Bandits [emoji38]

The OP
Watched and enjoyed Strike but can't really see why the brother would hire a PI when the murder was down as a suicide. I suspected the brother (along with the doorman for a bit) but ruled him out because it wouldn't make sense.
dogmc
Watched and enjoyed Strike but can't really see why the brother would hire a PI when the murder was down as a suicide. I suspected the brother (along with the doorman for a bit) but ruled him out because it wouldn't make sense. It was well enough made but they didn't leave a single cliché out. Very formulaic.
jimmy boo
Quite by chance I came across Top Gear America today which is a reboot of the show airing over there but with 3 new presenters, one of whom is Tom Ford who writes for TG magazine and used to be on Fifth Gear here. Not getting great reviews but I quite enjoyed it and will no doubt watch the rest at some point.

Enjoyed it as well, although I agree the ending didn't make sense (as well as the explanation given by the killer). Just realised that there will be a second season soon(Sunday at 9pm on BBC 1 if anyone is interested) -

Salvo Montalbano
Delighted that the best detective show on the box is back, Il Commisario Montalbano (obviously).Annoyed that my Sky box didn't recognise the fact (luckily they were still on iPlayer), that they seem to be using some new camera angles which just look weird, and most annoyingly they've went and replaced Livia again (and sadly not for the better).

Aye, you series link something, say Pie & Bovril :The TV Series. Then, the next season is listed on Sky as New : Pie & Bovril :The TV Series, so the planner doesn't pick it up. Complete pain in the bawsack. Edited September 6, 2017 by Boghead ranter
