Things that annoy or delight you on the telly right now

Davina McCall (I could just stop there to be honest) is either wearing a uniform on the 100k drop or they film dozens of episodes per day as she's been wearing the same thing for about two weeks solid on it.

Really enjoying Atlanta. It's different from most comedies out there and is clearly making a number of points on African Americans in US society though cannot claim to understand all of them.

Good shout. Just watched a couple, decent so far.

Frankie Boyle in Russia was a pretty good antidote to the scaremongering by showing Russians as normal, friendly human beings. Even the sellick supporter.

That fucking accent.

Really enjoyed both episodes, not a massive lover of Frankie Boyle but it had some real laugh out loud moments. Didn't realise he didn't drink and that he hated flying. Must have an unreal fear of it.

Russians came over as quite decent, all absolutely brainwashed though. Cossacks were brilliant.

Maybe mentioned it before but really enjoyed Barry on Sky Atlantic. All 8 (IIRC) episodes should be available now. Just a half hour each. Bill Hader as a startled looking former Marine sniper now working as a hitman. Stumbles into an LA acting class (run by The Fonz) and decides he wants to be an actor rather than a paid killer. Has to juggle working for these high camp soviet mobsters and his acting ambitions. He plays it very straight whilst all around him is farce and violence.

Apparently there is an upcoming programme on the Beeb called " Celebrities work in the NHS" or some such nonsense. WTF they have finally gone full Partridge, surely there are more succinct ways of proving that successive governments have strangled the health service without getting an array of fuckwits to wander around wards bothering sick people

Who the f**k wants Anne Widdecombe anywhere near them when in hospital?

Surely not even the workers really want to have a nonentity who's being filmed holding them back from doing their jobs whilst the producers call for more tears. It's bad enough in care being shadowed by a new worker never mind an arsehole on a PR exercise.

"You're going to be famous, Mr. Smith! Your brain operation is going to be performed by Joe Pasquale!"
