Re your spoiler, how so, your eminence?

*** I realise spoilers don't work sometimes so avoid like the William Hague if you've not yet taken the quiz ***

Tully was the nickname of the chap who landed the plane in the Hudson River after some birds got ingested into the engine (for some reason Linkedin keeps imploring me to follow him) . Even if you didn't know that, Tully sounds quite a male nickname .  Of the 4 actors, he was the only male.

If this comes across as me boasting a bit about getting a question right where I'd no idea what the right answer was, it absolutely is.

Hmmm.

** don't read if you've not taken the quiz. but do read if you want to read what a c**t I've made of this **

  • First, I was confusing the film Sully (about the hero who lands the plane) with Tully (some film I've never heard of)
  • Next, assuming the title role of the airline pilot was played by a male, I went for the only male sounding name (MacKenzie Crook etc)
  • It's been pointed out to me that MacKenzie Davis is in fact a bird.
  • Now that I think about it, I've seen trailers for Sully and it had Tom Hanks in it.
  • So to summarise, I mis-identified the film, mis-identifed the gender of the actor/actress, and got the question right.

I think there's only one winner here guys.

You could. When the World Cup starts! Or maybe next week. I've hidden a wee easter egg in there for the moment. Want to see if anyone notices.

They all look the same to me so I think that's a red herring.

6/10 for Wednesday - and only able to score one guess.

As a poker player, I'd agree.

Reminds of the time I was playing in a tourney and my opponent was getting pissed off 'cos he was obviously a much better player than me, but I kept getting dealt much better cards. His cry of "If you want a game of luck, why not go and play bingo" was met with a resounding "If you want a game of skill, go play chess".

Two hands later as he bombed me out the tourney but I left the casino with my dignity intact (in my mind).

I'm frankly astounded that the nurses allow your day release after today's debacle.

Is your easter egg the avatar of the one behind me on the table where you've swapped his with his rff?

6/10 for Wednesday. Knew medals. Al Grassby, Bhutan, Peru & Quakers. Worked out number.

There may be something to this religion thing: God looking after his own and all.
