If you check out the rotating league table a few pages back, you'll see that he forgot to include some scores. What shall we do about next week if there's no Monday quiz? Try one of the new ones? A week off next week (although obviously feel free to post any festive quizzes you come across). Since we're having a SUPERLEAGUE to kick off the new year, there's no promotion, relegation or play-offs. But here are the league tables... It's Legs 11 for Frankie as he scoops his 11th gold ... it must take a while for his cleaner to polish his trophy room. MSU is pipped into second. In the SWL, The_Kincardine has romped it and picks up his 2nd SWL medal. And I'm willing to take bets that while the rest of us are getting tucked into some turkey + trimmings on Christmas Day, he'll be eating pickled herring or rotting shark or something like that. And in the BHL, hearty congrats to SlipperyP who scoops his first ever medal in the P+B Quiz League!!!! So that's your leagues for this year. All that remains is for me to wish you all a very Merry Quizmas, and a happy New Triviyear. Not a million miles off, actually. My most recent ex wife dropped off home-prepared marinaded herring and gravadlax yesterday so I'll have that for lunch tomorrow with crispbread, Jarlsberg and a cold beer or three. For Baby Jesus lunch (which this year is on boxing day) the weans and I will have Aylesbury duck which I collected from the butcher earlier. I am, though, quite tempted to get it cooked as I love duck and then make some sort of excuse as I serve them sausage, egg and chips for their festive meal. Anyway, best festive greeting to you, Cardi and thanks for a terrific quizzing year - you've been a star.
