Went to the Stirling - Motherwell friendly and stopped off in Glasgow for an hour or so on the way.

Roaster level was through the roof.

It'd be funny if I wasn't squirming like f**k looking at raddled, gleakit looking, monobrowed tragi-peasants in Union Jack suits 'complimented' with orange 'No Surrender' baseball caps.

You should have come over and said hello.

Nothing quite sums up the union like poor people shafted by london celebrating being kept poor cos Ranjurs.

^^^thinks it's admirable when rich people vote for labour against their economic interests but when poor people support ideals other than pure selfish economic interest then they're thick....

Glasgow City council are considering the possibility of banning marches after seeing footage of sectarian singing at Saturday's march.

Which reminds me of the scene in Casablanca when Captain Renault says he is shocked to find gambling going on in a club only to be handed his winnings by a croupier..

In all the pictures that get shared here marchers in the west of Scotland seem to all be getting on a bit and frequently appear to be just a couple of extra sausage rolls away from a massive coronary.

Now obviously the selection of photographs might not be entirely representative but is it broadly true that this phenomenon is all set to literally die out or are there loads of young, fit and healthy marchers whose photos don't make it onto P&B but will be the tattooed, bald angry beer bellies of the future?

The 'young fit and healthy' mostly go into the bands now. That's why the band parades without the marchers following are more popular now.
