Ira Gaines
For the shit that came at the end of the title match, they picked a good winner for the Square Go. Personally think they should have pulled this trigger a year ago, but I'll take it, since it gave us a pretty decent Coffey title reign, and a BT Gunn run in the Zero G division as well.

Ira Gaines
Wasn't just that. It's that thing where someone has the match won, and then suddenly turns into a fucking mega moron and decides the best thing to do is to NOT win the match. Makes both the loser and winner look like shit. Why do that?
cb_diamond
Made the mistake of going to box afterwards. There are some attention seeking fuds among the ICW fans!

cb_diamond
Just daft twats that can't handle their beer and like the sound of their own very loud voices. There was a girl in one of the booths who had two guys fetching wrestlers over to speak to her. They all seemed most confused by it.

The Naitch
Joe Hendry has made the Scotland team for the Commonwealth Games. Good on him.
Ira Gaines
Well played to the Prestigious one. Should also give him plenty of ammo for promos which helps.
Stellaboz
So is ICW still on a downward trajectory? Not seen anything interesting to grab my attention for a long while.

Think they plateaued a bit then slipped back and have now found an OK level, it's a bit behind where they were a couple of years ago but still the biggest company in the UK for my money.
Ira Gaines
I'd probably have PROGRESS as the biggest in the UK at the moment, and also doing well overseas. ICW are still pretty significant of course but for PROGRESS to sell out similar venues to what ICW use so quickly is a significant point. It'll be interesting to see how well the Wembley Arena show sells in the end.

Marshmallo
I still check in intermittently but not been to a show for ages. I've debated with folk on here before but I get put right off by the death matches, I have no interest in watching guys slowly maim each other. A night at the wrestling is one I'd go to for fun.

cb_diamond
The ending to the death match is horrendous. Just seen it. Horrible botch then just a ridiculous dangerous spot. The cut on his arm was reminiscent of the mad man pondo bloodbath from the early noughties.

Presumably they make money out of it and its the one chance a year they get to bring in casual fans that might get converted into ondemand/live/merch purchasers.
