Reckon it will be manager of the month for Aitken but who knows.

Interestingly it looks to have been taken outside the prison cell where Danny Handling is currently being held. So I was close.

It's an excellent interview with Mr Aitken on the Official DFC website.

6 games unbeaten, Goal of The Month for Froxylias, Manager of The Month, National Trophy Semi Final to look forward to down in Wales, alive in the Scottish Cup too.

Heady times Sons 8)

It's been an incredible 6/7 years when you think about it. There will come a time in the not to distant future when we'll look back on this era with fond memories.

There will be younger Dumbarton fans who will never have seen us play at a level below Scotland's 2nd tier! In that period we've made the Scottish Cup quarter finals, beaten established championship teams regularly, taken points from Tannadice and Easter Rd and now with a comfortable gap from 9th in the league and a national semi on the horizon. Heady times indeed.

We really should enjoy every minute because the cyclic nature of football means it can't last forever.

No way he would turn it down if offered but I wouldn't be touching thistle if I was him. A more attractive proposition such as st mirren/Morton will likely come up sooner rather than later which would be surely more attractive. Battling the drop in the premiership, or potentially taking a championship team up. I know what I'd prefer.

The problem with winning promotion is you then find yourself in a relegation battle. Ask Alan Adamson.

Dunfermline. One win in their last nine league games. I imagine the natives will be getting restless.

Maybe but all the more reason for the boys to be looking up the way rather than down the way. Well done to Stevie and the team for manager (team) of the month but let's use that as belief 4th is there for the taking.
And I am unusually sober [emoji1]

I'd keep the heid meantime; the objective remains to stay in The Championship and that remains a very tall order. We are currently performing well but let's take it one game at a time.
