Romeo
Corruption and bribery is my guess. You'll be getting lawyers letters if you're not careful....

I did steady but profitable business with Close in the mid to late 80s providing them with IT 'shite' . They resisted 'the big bang' but were equally unaffected by Black Monday.. I have an affection for Close, Cazenove and NM Rothschild as they maintained an independent stance and provided me with commission whilst other clients like BZW and Morgan Grenfell went down the shitter. So, an independent merchant bank with a strong balance sheet and almost as much history as 'us' providing structured finance? Point out where I should be worried. The fact that the directors who were previously willing and able to offer low/no interest loans are now either unwilling or unable to do so, and instead you are taking up a facility with a company who are specialists in, amongst many things, offering structured finance to distressed companies, is not a good sign to me. I deal with Close on a semi regular basis as it happens, though in a completely different line of finance to what is being discussed here. Like any Organisation of that size it can be hit or miss depending on who you have to speak to.
Stellaboz
When your regular bank isn't giving you an overdraft, you should be worried.

The part where knocking back £8m shows how financially strong Rangers are, when at the same time arrange a £3m loan with Wonga secured against assets that King said he would never do and that the 'spivs' were crucified for doing likewise...and the part in the last financial results were King via NOAL promised to cover any shortfall ,and the financial future of the club being dependent on European football. I'd be worried about that.

Strangely enough Bennett's posting style is morphing into McMadeupname's eye stabbing mince. It's clear that he's the only c**t on here that actually reads the site and the prose is rubbing off on him. Yet he slags off everyone else for 'donating' while funding the fruitloop by clearly clicking on his pish everytime the guy puts a blog up. sjc
No surprise to see irony lost on Bennett. Slags off folk for believing a blogger (who predicted Rangers downfall as it happens), whilst he and his fellow Rangers* supporters have been taken in by puff pieces in the SMSM bigging up all manner of charlatans portraying themselves as "Real Rangers Men"!
