Walking Down The Halbeath Road

PJ Crossan bagged us a few quid and he looked a very decent player (and physically imposing for his age). Anyone really decent like that will be sold, rather than be some mainstay of the team for years.

Completely forgot about him.

So it's arrogance and feeling that some teams are beneath us then?

It's also the difference between being strong favourites for every league game and being underdogs for most.

Winning by 3 or more goals was something we did about a dozen times last season, if we did that against anyone this season it'd probably be our best result of the campaign.

Wouldn't quite say that, I'd say it's just more satisfying and enjoyable to win a closely contested game between two even team 1-0 than it is to beat a team you are miles better than 3-0

No budget thoughts for tv coverage if we come up against trfc etc - not that Im in the huff or anything LOL - happy to take it if it comes.

Less abuse on the terraces, we need to move forward.

The SPFL Unnacceptable Conduct Rules: please read this again (on dafc.co.uk)

* we have to obtain names and addresses if you buy tickets before the game but not on the day of the game if you are purchasing there. what we tried to do was manage that effectively, we only have 1 member of staff and 2 volunteers in the club shop, if you are trying to pre-sell 2,000+ tickets and we thought it was the way to do it was online but the IT system cant handle it at the moment. The games at Raith , Falkirk we have to sell a good number of tickets which is why this is in place.

We sell 2,500 tickets to Raith Rovers. we dont get any of that money. we lose 1.5% of the cost to credit card charges. They get to charge whatever they want to their own fans. We have a lot of challenges and how we price for next season. The work that goes in to sell the Rovers tickets, we take 5,000 fans there, it is quite an expensive exercise for us to manage.

We appreciate every continued support for the team and the board.

Q - re Saturday's game - walk up fans -
A - we have sold 750 tickets so far. It is Falkirk's decision and it is their safety crew who have to guarantee the ticket allocation. We don't have any control over saying if there were any cash gates - it is up to Falkirk to offer this and if they can handle it. Falkirk like other clubs sell 80-90% of their tickets online.

Absolutely stunned by that but not surprised. We've been the best side over two legs but shot ourselves in the foot.

Severe lack of professionalism from the club, not just penalties but seeing out games, tactics, subs and signings.

We matched Accies, who were missing nine players.

Looks like the players heads went totally at the penalties. That's simply unacceptable for a full time side.

Grant is right and has been for a while, we are simply amateurish at times and AJ is out of his depth. Replace him with the Dumbarton or Ayr manager and we would be ten points better off and in the next round of the cup. He's not making the most out of the budget and resources.

Not sure Stevie Aitken would have you in the next round of the cup. Check our record in the three cup competitions this season.

Aitken got Dumbarton papped out of the Cup by Bonnyrigg and Ian McCall struggled like f**k to get Ayr past an atrocious Clyde team. Your posts are a relentless stream of absolute pish.

your strange thoughts about being full time solving everything and anything had some vague reason for explaining your rants when we played part-time sides. up against other full time teams it makes no sense.

For the 120 mins I thought we competed well gave a decent account of ourselves, hardly think we put in an amateur performance, however you do wonder why we can't stick a ball into the 18ft wide net from 12 yards out if all three of our penalty takers had tried to put a hole in the net and sent it right down the middle it would of gone in. Stats show down the middle is the best place to put it especially if you don't have the skill to stick it right in the corner, all out pens were at least a yard inside. It's easy either practise until you can't get closer to the top corner or batter it straight down the middle that's the coaches job but not a reason for anyone to lose their job.

You truly are a hysterical w****r and any salient and valid points you make are drowned under the waves of your hyperbolic pish.

Pipe down.
