I do think McManus has more potential than Shankland though. McManus will have a better team and better players around him this season, therefore I believe he'll have a solid season. DBA Posted June 21, 2017 Share Posted June 21, 2017 Shankland was pretty rotten every time he played against us last season - would be another underwhelming addition should we sign him. 3 and a half weeks until the first competitive game, I'd hoped this year that we'd have a more or less settled squad by the time these games come around. That's looking unlikely, so we need the incoming signings to hit the ground running to avoid a start like last year!
