Walking Down The Halbeath Road

Recommended Posts

Hopefully AJ is creative and signs players who will work in his system, not sign guys on past glories or reputations (cough cough Gav). Look at Wedderburn. Part of a terrible Cowden team then sat on the bench for Caley but became a monster of a player for us.

Really bored now, throwing out names... PJ Crossan might be ripe for a loan spell to The Championship and has had a full season in Celtic's youth team. Only saw him for about half an hour in total in League One but looked pretty handy and built like a tank.

I'd play Jamie Mole ahead of Gav.

They'd make quite a front pair in a terrible loan signings 11. Seem to remember Mole ending up wide, presumably as it was a shorter distance to travel when he inevitably got subbed.

I might be alone in this but John Sutton could be a good foil for Nicky Clark. When we last played St Mirren at East End he kept possession so well under pressure, finding players in the box. Wouldn't be a prolific scorer but could tee up a lot of chances for others.

Agree with this.

Our current line-up:

Murdoch

Morris
Ashcroft
M'Voto

Talbot
Williamson

Wedderburn
Higginbotham
Cardle

Clark
Hopkirk

Subs:
Gill
Martin
Morrison
Luke
Lochhead
Smith

As far as I know, that's everyone we've got signed up so far. Need at the very least 1 striker, 1 winger, 1 centre-mid and a right-back (or a left-wing-back if he's planning 3 centre-halves).

Just 32 days til the season starts - lets get a signing AJ!
