I've seen the state of every battle royal, men's and women's, and know that royal rumbles are a completely different thing. It's gotten to a point where you could put the 20 best wrestlers in the world in a battle royal and I still wouldn't watch it. He's definitely very talented but its similar to when the Rock first started. He was just a generic smiling babyface when he started his singles run and fans weren't buying it.
