stuthejag
Let us know your thoughts on the Penderyn... Bought it years ago on a trip to Swansea, was decent but I wasn't really into my Whisky then.
Hedgecutter
Bought it years ago on a trip to Swansea, was decent but I wasn't really into my Whisky then. That's good. I tried it on a blind tasting once and found it boggin, so wasn't as if I was simply turning my nose up because it was Welsh. Enjoy!

My local have it and I asked them to open the bottle and let me have a wee nose at it. Decided to leave it to the Welsh too.
invergowrie arab
Penderyn is shite. I got the Glenfiddich IPA which I'm curious to try and the Dalwhinnie winter gold which I'm sure will go nice in a coffee.

stuthejag
Beer flavoured whisky sounds horrible. I had a few yesterday Broughton Brewery's "old jock" is quite strong and a challenge but Tennant's "Hop Scotch" is lovely

A large single malt and a pint of Belhaven is my favourite combination at this time of year.
