Can someone explain what in hell's name Regan is going to do about it, exactly?

SFL have voted to admit Rangers to SFL3 if Dundee/Dunfermline are invited to SPL.

Unless SPL is going to invite no-one (in which Rangers are in limbo) or invite Rangers (in which case prepare for nuclear war)... what's to be done?

They're not going to form SPL2 in a week, and SFL clubs have said they don't want it anyway.

The SPL clubs are now morally bankrupt if they try to set up an SPL 2.

When will the mainstream media start questioning their so called "sporting integrity."

They've been riding high on the euporia of their so called moral high ground. Now they have been exposed as the biggest hypocrites in the history of the game.

As for Terry over Rangers on Sky Sports News, it isn't really a surprise. Chelsea are a Champions League winning side with Terry as a star player. They're a global footballing institution, Rangers are mere pretenders. They're nowhere near as relevant as Terry on a global level.

It's scandalous that they are even giving air time to this racist bigoted scum,,,why don't they just stay with Terry story?

Didn't bomber also say he had the paperwork to prove sevco will be playing in SFL1 ?

In fairness, that's precisely what the email Tomo leaked this morning says. Regan was convinced it was a done deal.

If the SFA try anything now they'll get huckled.

Division three, avoiding the usual application process, and no three years of accounts. Shocking.

And let's not forget what Clyde FC said regarding Resolution 1 :-

In terms of Resolution 1, whether reworded or not, it seemed inconceivable to the Board of Clyde that absolutely no information whatsoever has been provided to support the resolution. This is clearly a matter of haste and again driven by an external agenda, perhaps because Sevco have not lodged an application to join the SFL then they have not submitted any information. Whilst we have accepted that this is being treated as a special case and we are willing to run with this, it simply was not possible to conclude that we could make any decision at this time. The matter is made worse because of the extent of uncertainty which hangs over Sevco. There is no need to prepare an exhaustive list of the issues as they are well publicised, however the extent of outstanding sanctions that may or may not be levied against a club which has yet to obtain SFA membership, together with the increasing number of possible commercial and legal challenges to the transactions to date simply presents a significant risk to the ability of the club to fulfil its fixtures in any league. Given that some of these matters are in the hands of the governing bodies it seems inexplicable that they are left hanging. We are clear that for the good of the game that we would want a swift and positive conclusion that would see Rangers Football Club taking part in the game again and we would wish to be able to support a Resolution that saw them entered to SFL3. However, until we receive enough information to inform such a decision then we are being pushed into a corner which would actually leave any club making a logical decision arrive at the conclusion that Resolution 1 should not be supported. The SFA could assist the process by transferring the SFA membership to Sevco prior to the Friday meeting if they have satisfied themselves of fit and proper tests and have carried out their own diligence on the viability of the club and the various legal challenges.

Scumbag Regan will do his utmost to get them into some sort of b*****dised SPL 2. This could drag on a bit yet.

Was always going to be the case.

They will end up in div 1, we will get the game we deserve.

Grant Russell@STVGrantLongmuir: SFL clubs try to live within their means. They are achieving that. We live without tv contracts, do sporting fairness governs us

Expand Collapse

Sums it all up perfectly for me.

Am I missing something here? Wasn't Longmuir willing to shaft the SFL to please Raygun and Doncorleone? What's the story here? Is he not partly to blame for this mess?

Of course Regan's still going to try and get them to a higher level. We just need the clubs who've voted against having them in the First to continue to resist and reject invitations to SPL2. They can't have SPL2 with Sevco and the five who voted for them.

As soon as ra peepul turn up in these small towns round the country.

They will only get a few hundred balloted tickets.

Unless they do a 'Manchester' every fortnight it won't be too bad.

With the new nationwide police force they can just draft in a few of the

cops who would have been controlling them elsewhere.

Just to recap:

People said there would be no real punishment against Rangers by the SFA panel - there was.

People said the SFA appellate tribunal would overturn this punishment - they didn't they upheld it.

People said the CVA would be accepted - it wasn't.

People said the newco would be voted into the SPL - they weren't, theybwere overwhelmingly rejected.

People said the SFL clubs wouldn't be allowed to vote on a division 3 option. - they were.

People said it would be touch and go that hey would be voted into division 3. - it wasn't, it was by a huge majority.

Now these same people are spreading this pish about the SFA.

I can only assume that someone gave Regan a Superman outfit for Christmas and people think it's real. The SFA are there to represent Scottish football, scottish football has spoken and their views are clear.

They certainly cannot. laugh.gif

But they will and can say anything in an attempt to con glory hunting fans of the soon-to-be defunct Rangers Football Club into buying season tickets to watch Sevco FC in the Third Division!
