A great feeling at Cappielow..

In the least patronising way possible thank you very much for Sir Gavin. Made his first start for Grimsby today and looked head and shoulders above what we have at the back. (That includes Welsh international James Collins) gave away a penalty in the last minute but luckily it never cost us.

Picked the ball up on the edge of our 18 in the frost half and walsed past 3 of their players as if they weren't there.

Sir Gavin clearly intends to play his way towards a deal at a higher level next season; it was therefore bizarre to see the Grimsby manager favour some faceless goons ahead of him in previous weeks.

Every minute of play involving the Irish Bonucci should be cherished.

Had me worried there, he's got previous for that which is partly how we got him!

Good luck to him, he's a winner. Great player and quite a character.

"Sponsored mesh netting". I'll bet there was an intense bidding war between Nike and Adidas for that.

Probably as much interest in sponsoring that mesh netting as there was in the Dundee managers job.

Are they having a laugh, regards upgrading Cappielow, in advance of any possible promotion bid?

Oh dear!

For approximately the trillionth time, Cappielow is already compliant for the top flight.

I'm not really seeing why this is supposed to be embarrassing. Away fans have complained about being put in the main stand for years, they'll now have the option of going in the Cowshed too, providing the opportunity to stand and to have a fantastic view of the game. It wipes out the almost two decades of justified criticism of Cappielow from away fans in one go. It's mesh rather than a fence because the fence obscured the view of the game and as it's only a small section of the Cowshed, it doesn't inconvenience home fans while having away fans under the same roof should create a better atmosphere. It's good for everyone.

This. Good on Morton for doing something for the benefit of away fans. Looking forward to going there should we both be in this league.

Nail. Head.

The away section at Cappielow has impacted on supporter enjoyment of a game for years, so credit to them for rectifying the issue and giving away supporters a better experience watching their team. This move should be commended not mocked.
