Longest since last meeting between two Scottish clubs

I'd still say the Northern League counts as a competitive fixture though, does it not?

I had just copied and pasted what another Aberdeen fan had listed to date.

Yes it would.

I'd assumed this thread was about league/league cup/Scottish cup meetings, but there was no real reason for me to presume that.

I don't ever remember Motherwell playing East Stirlingshire in the whole time I've been following them so that's 25+ years. Can't remember a match against Berwick Rangers either.

They'd have met in the old First Division back in 63/64, a mere 26 years before you started following 'Well!

We've a great record against Bo'ness!

Hopefully Bo'ness United (one of the two clubs that amalgamated to form the BUs was the old senior club) will make it far enough in the Scottish Cup this season to create the possibility of a rematch after 86 years.

Can remember being at Brockville when Queen's Park were in the first division (i.e. second tier) back in the 80s. The visiting support spent most of their time serenading the local constabulary with "Hey hey we're the polis the biggest bunch of Juan Kerrs in town" to the tune of a Monkees number. Beyond that don't remember who won.

Fairly certain Falkirk have played Peterhead before. Did they not meet at Brockville around 2002/03 in one of the cups?

I remember going to a game at Brockville just after it was announced they were joining the SFL.
