He basically said in a interview (a few years ago now) that he didn't like socialism, so everyone started labelling him a Tory. Then he came out and said he wasn't a Tory either. The streaming was excellent quality considering it was live. He really knows how to put on a show! Can't wait until I next get the chance to see him again. Some days I think he's bloody brilliant and he lyrics are class and I should live my life like he does! then when I listen to him around other folk they point out how over-earnest and naff his lyrics are and his singing style doesn't help because you can hear every single word.. I feel a bit squirmy listening to him sometimes. As a live act he's brilliant though, a proper old-fashioned performer who gets the crowd going and as much as his albums can be hit-and-miss, his singles are top drawer.
