There was loads of festivities to celebrate the 450th anniversary of the Battle of Langside. The events included having lots of horses with their handlers. Some mother carried her 18 month daughter right up to a horse. Horse freaked out and lashed out. Mother threw baby in the air. Baby landed on face. Thankfully twas on the grass so baby okay. Mother then posted asking for witnesses, with a view to seeking damages. Half the group accuse her of being at fault for not realising horses are dangerous and being part of a "Blame Culture". The organiser of the event apologised but said that the mother had refused to let her child be seen by any first aiders. Someone else wades in to point that the mother was effing and blinding at all and sundry after the event. Thread is LOCKED. Someone called Robert Dillon missed his chance to add his tuppence worth, so starts a new thread calling her a terrible mother Somebody called "Happy Ali" wades in to suggest going to the library to borrow a book on how to be nice to other people and to stop hiding behind a screen". Then another person with a real name sticks his oar in to call her a hypocrite, since her name is clearly not Happy Ali. All very enjoyable.
