No one result changes nothing IMO. I just don't see the point in calling for something that if it was going to happen it would have happened post QoS.

Houston now can't win with a lot of fans. Win 3 or 4 now then a loss the cries for his sacking will come again. A run like he has managed in every season he has been in charge (10 games+) the same guys will be saying "he should have done it in the first place"

I agree with you. Houston, like Hughes, Pressley, May and Holt were, is disliked by a core of our fans who are desperate for him to fail.

He can't win with some fans I agree. But find it weird that you now suggesting getting behind a manager you said must go just a few days ago.

I want Houston sacked and gone but that a world away from actively wanting us to fail.

Do you honestly think our own fans want as to fail?

He never had the 10+ run last season, its that fear that this season will continue in that manner of being shocking to watch and grind our way to play offs, I for one think we have better options this season going forward than last season and the opposition is weaker than previous seasons but I did state our defence was shocking and you could drive a bus through it, which was ridiculed, ahem September we get two new centre halves in.....

A tedious fact is that Houston has managed to give us 14 draws in all of his seasons.........13 to go

I have explained that. Pointless exercise, the Board have backed him now.

Fans may dislike a manager/player but no real "fan" ever wants their team to fail just so they can say told you so. What a ridiculous comment!!

I'd back Adolf Hitler as manager if he managed to get us promotion. The problem for me is that if your telling us your goal is promotion and marketing a season as 'our time' then surely the basic requirement from the manager is to produce a side that is at the very least challenging for the championship. Anything else isn't good enough. I'd give him till Christmas to have us up there fighting for the title and if not then it should surely be thanks but its time to move on and get someone else in to get things organised for a big push next season. I'd love Houston to get us up as I still have great memories of watching him as a player who always gave 100% and fought for 90 plus minutes. Its a pity some of his signings dont have those same attributes unfortunately.

Even as a grown man I can still remember the hatred aimed at Lambie, from the crowd, during his time in charge. The figures seem to bare out it was genuinely as bad as I remember.

Was Eddie May as manager just a terrible dream?

I thought that as well as didn't notice his stats also dont see Eamon Bannon in there either and they missed out Dave Clarke as well

Eddies Mays stats were won 4 , drew 8  and lost 15

Better watch criticism here or you'll be getting red dotted by certain folk :P
