The Falkirk FC Thread

Recommended Posts

I think that pretty well backs up the fact that it was dunfermline and shiels that went crying to the sfa about the whole thing. Football is getting turned into a right namby pamby sport both on and off the park unfortunately.

Tbf the world was a much better place when you could the mock the disabled without dear of reprimand

Again Falkirk has been subjected to a punishment which will never be handed out to other clubs. We should not be surprised as this has happened lots of times before. I sincerely hope that this does not lead to serious issues at the next Dunfermline game. I suspect it will and three guesses who’ll get in trouble.

It's good to hear good news stories about the SFA and our chairman reports that the compliance officer exceeded expectations i terms of his fairness and professionalism.
Ross McArthur: "Hello, is that the SFA? We'd like you to ban a Falkirk player"
SFA "We have a special deal this month for valued repeat customers. How about we ban two instead?"
RM "Perfect. Thanks so much for you help. Speak to you again on 3rd January. Bye for now"

Statement from Pars' chairman....
Dean Shiels has shown resilience and strength of character.

Also, new sponsor Thomson's World of Furniture are to pay for major renovations to hospitality areas, the boardroom and the all important SFA hotline suite.

FFS, reading that you might think that a player that was sent off for an act of violence had just been shot.

Dunfermline.........football’s Humpty Dumpties.

As a Bairns fan, I’ve seen a few shitey Chairman’s statements in my time but I genuinely had to check half-way through reading this that it wasn’t a spoof,  such is the positively Rangers-esque level of profound dignity and lamentable syntax.

Regardless of the rights or wrongs of the sentiment behind it I can only assume the Pars’ Chairman left one of his extra Fifer fingers resting a little too hard on the comma button of his keyboard. Makes Doug Henderson’s famous Brexit special read like Shakespeare by comparison.
