Just seen there Joe McLaughlin name also being linked with replacing Houston

He was in the hospitality against Dumbarton saying he wants a management job, he applied for East Kilbride. He seems like a total throbber tbh.

Stainrod teasing the COYB Facebook posters.

Best moment in Internet history.

How do you think they will unveil Coyle as manager.A magic phone message, the interview being broadcast, coming down in the crane, sitting in the hot tub or showing Bennie T's menu with a Coyle Fish Supper?

He'll come on as sub at half-time and bang in a free kick from way out on the left wing into the top left corner of the south stand goal. Great days.

It certainly was.

People still rip him for the "guarantee" that inspired Darren Jackson so, but I didn't mind it. It showed some faith and tried to instil some confidence in a side with less cohesion than the Bash Street Kids, and he almost did it. Crapping our scants in the post split games sent us into the hellhole.

Stretching it a bit to say "he almost did it". We scored one goal in that post-split fixture nonsense and that's only because a St Mirren player went mental and elbowed one of our players to give us a penalty.

That being said, I don't entirely blame Pressley for us being relegated. The bulk of that has to go to Eddie May and the board who gave him more and more time when it was obvious he was out his depth by September. A small portion of blame must go to Hughes as well, we were only Michael Higdon's arse away from being relegated the season before, with the cup final run papering over some serious cracks.

Probably announce it by texting himself tbh.

And despite only scoring one goal, we were one overhit Ryan Flynn shot from staying up, so yes, we almost did it.

Fully agree Hughes/board/May equally culpable.

The fact that we almost stayed up was more to do with how bad Kilmarnock were than anything brown shoes did. Killie won 2 games out their last 14 and yet still stayed up. That just shows you how abysmal we were under Pressley. When he came in he should've said something like we'll be doing everything we can to make sure this club doesn't go down. Guaranteeing we wouldnt go down just made him look like an utter twat. Turned out he was an utter twat mind you.
