German Jag
Off to Hamburg tomorrow night to see The Jesus and Mary Chain. Gig already sold out. Last time seeing them was when they were touring Honey's Dead, also in Hamburg in 1992.

Last time seeing them was when they were touring Honey's Dead, also in Hamburg in 1992. Good gig. The Fabrik, where the gig was on, is an old converted machinery factory, now a music & culture centre. Easy to get a drink due to the large number of bars dotted around the place, but the pillars in the main hall make it difficult to find a spot with full-view across the stage. Good mix of the new "Damage & Joy" album which they're touring, with ever more and more "oldies" coming in later on. Set-List:- 1. Amputation 2. April Skies 3. Head On 4. Far Gone and Out 5. Between Planets 6. Blues From a Gun 7. Always Sad 8. Mood Rider 9. Teenage Lust 10. Cherry Came Too 11. The Hardest Walk 12. All Things Pass 13. Some Candy Talking 14. Halfway to Crazy 15. Reverence Encore: 16. Nine Million Rainy Days 17. Just Like Honey 18. You Trip Me Up 19. The Living End 20. Taste of Cindy 21. War on Peace Encore 2: 22. Never Understand
ilostmyself
Went to see Deafheaven in St Luke's tonight, was incredible.Never been to a gig like that before but there's something magic about them and the mix between shoegazing and metal.

Ira Gaines
Anyone got any idea what sort of set time Rancid will have supporting Green Day? I've been told 20 songs but with Rancid that could fill a usual slot.

Lichtie78
DMA's were utterly brilliant. Tommy O'Dell is a fantastic frontman and I think these lads have very big things ahead of them.
BallochSonsFan
As expected, Carter Sampson was sublime. Such a talented singer/songwriter.
