eez-eh
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-41651836 A feature on Google Maps telling you how many calories a walk would burn is #triggering apparently. Is it possible to be #triggered by other people being #triggered? Sweet fucking Jesus.

Scary Bear
I've been through exactly what I did, and I'm fairly sure the two main reasons for the magnificence were: (i) A much larger stick of cinnamon than normal, & (ii) The use of lamb forcing me to cook it for ages on a low heat. ETA: Replaced some oil with ghee too. That'll be it. I've never used ghee, but I'm pretty sure that'll be it. That's what the Indian restaurants use, isn't it?

I'm sure just lobbing a bit of butter in would do the same trick for a fraction of the cost.
Jmothecat2
I use Ghee. Just stick a few spoonfuls into a pan with onion, garlic and ginger, low heat for about 15-20 minutes and use that as the base for almost all my curries.

Just boil butter and pour it through a sieve. http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2015/08/clarified-butter-recipe.html

Nkomo-A-Gogo
Where do you buy Ghee? Yes he is a very stylish man, much like yourself. Thank you. If you use a lot of spices and such go to an Indian cash and carry like this one http://www.alfawholesale.com you can be a bit overwhelmed by the amount of stuff they do though but good if you know what you want. I use a lot of basmati rice so I buy a 10 kilo bag. I have a chinese one near me that I get soy sauce, sriachi, noodles, Chinese cooking wine, cinnamon sticks. Its all much cheaper than supermarkets.
