paul-r-cfc
A fair dusting of snow here in Thornliebank when I woke up this morning and a pretty heavy deluge just ceased about 10 minutes ago. Drive to uni was slow but not too bad once I was off the motorway. Some amount of diddies on the roads. Both extremes. Those who act like it's a blizzard and drive so slow they can barely get up a hill then those on the other end who act as if the snow isn't there and go flying round corners and end up sliding all over the place

It was properly snowing in Fife in the last half hour there though. I hope you make it back to Granton okay. -

I can't remember the last time Edinburgh had really bad snow in the city centre. Must be about 2010 when my eldest was born, can remember the in laws coming to visit and not being able to get home! Despite that I love the snow, would like to see a good fall in Edinburgh and although the beeb (and others) saying it was going to be bad I've seen nowt other than the flurry this morning - even their website shows it all moving out till the afternoon.

anotherchance
Our work voluntarily letting folk leave if they’re concerned about getting home, half the office out the door already despite trains seemingly generally fine. Wife got sent home so I’m happy to stay at the coalface.
