Bill Clark

Born in Kirkcaldy and brought up in Dysart, Bill is a lifelong Rovers supporter. An Honours Graduate from Edinburgh University, he has had a highly successful career in education, including posts as Rector of Galashiels Academy, HM Chief Inspector of Schools (Scotland) and Director of Education in Islington, inner London. He has also been a consultant/adviser on leadership, management and improvement planning to governments in Australia, PR China, Hong Kong and the USA.

He was an SFA referee from 1976 to 1994 and has been involved in school and youth football for many years. He has also made a significant financial contribution to the Rovers to assist in our goal of returning to the Championship next season. His experience and expertise will be a considerable asset to the Board as we move forward.


If he's from Dysart he must be alright! [emoji16]

Waste of a wage is a bit harsh but certainly I'd agree if we ever get enough players fit, I'd have Robertson and Matthews in midfield ahead of him.


Waste of a wage to date. Hopefully he comes good and isn't the latest in the long line of shite midfielders which we specialise in.

I'm thinking Joe Hamill and his ilk.

to me the first few times I saw him I thought he looked short of a bit of fitness - hopefully having played 4-5 matches that starts to pass and he begins to make a difference in there! Otherwise you are right - the wage could have went on signing a defender!

I wasn't sure when I first seen him, gave him the benefit of the doubt since he hadn't played or trained much with the squad but by the Albion Rovers game he looked utterly lost and it got even worse when he had the ball.
