  1. Well, looks like another mild autumn/winter is already upon us with the coming of the first big storm of the season which will be Post-Tropical Cyclone Gonzalo or Gonzo for short. I'm going to keep this thread going through until the end of winter and if you want to post information, photos, weather warnings or even if you want to post your experiences of extreme weather post here. The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for much of the UK for Tuesday and this is to be prepared. The west of Scotland is expected to have gales and heavy rain tomorrow evening. Some useful sites http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather http://www.netweather.tv/ http://www.wunderground.com/global/UK.html Net weather is a cool site as it has an excellent lightning detector and an excellent forum. Weather Underground although is USA based is a very good site and has the latest North Atlantic Storm information such as on Gonzalo http://www.wunderground.com/hurricane/atlantic/2014/hurricane-Gonzalo Now thinking of keeping this thread going through to the end of June, the end of the StormChasing season in the USA.
