  1. this is like neighbours you know it's shite but have to keep watching
  2. CLYDEBANK TILL I DIE

  3. But Jim Ballantyne was vociferous in his condemnation of Livi's antics months back in both the local press and the match progamme, They have cheated was his opinion especially after they signed players we could not in january, I'm sure both articles included Clyde as well, given that they too gazumped us for players last summer only to be unable to pay them. The man's entitled to an opinion, i'm sure the other chairmen were well aware of it before any meetings took place, he would have took the same stance had we won the play off. it's mud slinging and he better be careful because from what i can gather if it hits the fan most of it will blow back onto him and his horrible dress sense.
  4. as above there still a club in administartion so McGruther IS still in charge, the livi 5 will have preffered bidder status, until a cva is rubber stamped the business remains in the hands of the admin unless of course they have settled all debts
  5. Granted, I was kinda backing up your point, however there's no way a new livi could be accepted
  6. Remember part of Airdrie's original bid though contained a sum of around 200k that was pledged to repay Airdrionians Football debt as a goodwill gesture( ok the IR and some businesses would have got zilch but the debts conected to the football side of the operation would have been mostly paid) not ideal but in no way were Airdrie trying to wipe out debts and start again. It was the only option untill the sfl had a word in the shell like. Incidentally most of that 200k was swallowed up in the buyout, so money that would have been kept in house went to yer man Hall. the precedent has been set any "new Livi" would be a paper club and any bid to gain league status would be rejected. they either sort out a cva or that's it Game Over
  7. A simple phone call from WLC to NLC's Jim McCabe will knock this Rankine p1sh on the head. He'll set them straight on this charlatan at this meeting did nobody even think - wait a minute how did he save Airdrie they were liquidated!!
  8. the precedent has been set on that one, Airdrie united's original application which included payment of the football debt as a goodwill gesture was deemed to be a paper club with no footballing History and thus Gretna were voted in instead well done to the clubs who voted on that one!! Ayr United; Alloa; Arbroath; Berwick Rangers; Clyde; Clydebank; Cowdenbeath; Dumbarton; East Fife; East Stirling; Inverness CT; Morton; QOS; St.Mirren; Stranraer; St.Johnstone
  9. I was alluding to the fact that it's VAT free rather than a criminal activity
  10. what a fcuking whacky plan, given The ballantynes budget was around 200k he must have been planning on getting the club for nothing, Barr wanted the stadium, it all becomes clear now, he's only there to see if there's cash to be had mad massone thinks he's bringing him some cash, Rankine thinks he can make some cash and gemmill well he just doesn't have any cash there's a straight to DVD movie in all of this, get Duvall on the phone.
  11. can you elaborate on the 200k, thats a new one on me, Gemmil was installed at airdrie by bill barr's KPMG backed regime, the masterpaln being a dismantling of new broomfield being moved to a seaside town on the west coast and land being a prime housing spot (well to anyone not from airdrie, the thought of being squeezed between craigneuk and Petersburn can only be described as a wee patch of land on the iran/iraq border 20 years ago) but the council held the title deeds to teh land and Airdrieonians owned the bricks and mortar, so they were screwed, after liquidation of all assets there was barely enough to pay KPMG so i dont see where this 200k figure comes into play. but your right the last time those two were circling round a club was to try and pick the bones of it
