  1. Kakay's had two decent games on the spin, plus he ended up having a decent game against Arbroath last time around after an admittedly shaky start. It was his cross that led to MIller's goal.
  2. I would think if Stewart doesn't wanna stay I reckon he will probably go to thistle with jobby Unlikely. McCall has two assistants in Scally and Archibald, I don't see him adding Stewart to the coaching mix anytime soon.

    Gigs

I *really* enjoyed it, but seeing the setlists from subsequent gigs gives me the feeling they were holding back a bit. The Self-Immolate/Mars For The Rich/Perihelion climax was f*cking tremendous, mind.
  4. I'd hoped Mansell would develop into a big destroyer in the Lyndon Dykes mould, but McCall doesn't seem to fancy him. Might be worth punting him out on loan in January and taking it from there.
  5. Pleasantly surprised by The S.L.P.
  6. Aimlessly switching the ball from right to left in the the final 10 seconds of a game...ffs.
  7. If Gordon's challenge is a red then the Ayr captain could've walked twice.
  8. The Morton result looks even worse after last night. We *have* to win this afternoon. And I don't mean that to be disparaging to Ayr; our support simply won't settle for anything else.
  9. No bother. Like you say, it's difficult to keep them interested for 90 minutes. The membership's handy - my kids are mascots on Saturday through it.
  10. *Should* be fine. My two-and-a-half year-old son has a season ticket as part of his Junior Jags membership, but I don't scan it and then pop him through the turnstile, I just scan my own.
  11. We *now* have a squad of 22 players: that's the same as Dundee; more than Morton (+1), Alloa (+3), Arbroath (+4), QotS (+1) and Dunfermline (+1); and less than Dundee United (+3), Ayr (+3) and Inverness (+2). In season 2012/13, we used 23 players. I've neglected to count those youth players (6) who made a single appearance, mostly at Dumbarton on the final day.
  12. August...what can you say, the new Ride, Oh Sees and King Gizzard albums all released on the same day, plus Ty Segall's latest offering released earlier in the month. The Gizz album is punchy as f*ck - desperately looking forward to their Barrowland gig in October. My favourites from the latter three albums:
  13. Aye, we're much of a muchness. The signing of Hall, plus any others this week, must be Caldwell's final throw of the dice.
  14. I think everyone would benefit from a cooling-off period.
