  1. Whilst I have sympathy with the situation which Hearts find themselves in and feel that relegation would be unfair I feel the temp 14 team solution is also potentially very unfair. As far as I am aware the proposal is to reduce the league back to 12 at the end of 22/23 season and this will be achieved by relegating 3 teams with no play-offs . This is almost as unfair as relegating Hearts and a far fairer solution needs to be found . Time for Neil Doncaster to earn his £400,000 and find a way out of this mess .
  2. I appreciate that there is probably other more appropriate places to discuss the present reconstruction saga but I have put my comments here to specifically get feedback from Hearts Fans. I am sympathetic to Hearts plight and feel it would be very unfair for you to be relegated. That being said I have serious reservations regarding the temp fix of a 14 team league for 2 seasons ( I think this is Anne Budge's proposal ) . This would mean at end of 22/23 season 3 teams would be automatically relegated from The Premier League to enable the top division to return to a 12. If my team ( St. Johnstone ) finished 3rd bottom and were automatically relegated I would be very unhappy ! . Relegating 3 teams from 14 is in my opinion very unfair and a better solution needs to be found . So basically what I am saying is we need to find 2 solutions, 1) plan to stop Hearts being relegated. 2) plan to revert to 12 fairly. My preference would be to go to a Top League of 18 ( play home & away ) but I no this has virtually no chance of ever happening despite many people I know all also favouring this idea.
  3. I am not sure but think the idea of packing all the support into The Main Stand might have had something to do with BT sport . Looked better on TV than a half empty East Stand.
  4. Do not understand why Wright had to bring this subject into the public domain . Is he trying to create a division between the Fans and our Chairman ? . If so i think he is making a very big mistake . Tommy has given us all some great memories over past 5/6 years but Saints Fans should remember that none of this would have been possible without the excellent stewardship of The Browns during the past 25 years + . He had the right to ask the Chairman about the possibility of taking the players on a winter break but when this was turned down it should have been kept within the club . All managers have a shelf life and i wonder if Tommy Wrights is almost up at Saints.
