I’ve already took the day off for a nice train journey up to Aberdeen for the game at Cove on 26/10. Just noticed the **** are at Pittodrie the same day. Obviously that will be moved for tv. Hopefully to the Sunday and not the sat lunchtime.

Is my mind playing tricks or have the Rovers not played St Mirren away since 1976

I simply don’t believe the current Berwick side are capable of winning two games in a row and going by the Berwick thread it seems like most of their supporters would agree with that .

We (ARFC) are safe now after a very good display today. I have been saying all season that in 45 years of attending that this is far and away the worst Berwick team I’ve ever seen. And yes I am aware we haven’t beaten them this season. Good luck to Berwick in the play offs it’s a lovely town and enjoy the train journey and day out but I’m not convinced they’ll do it

That’s the Rovers last away game of the season back down to Berwick. I’m still thawing out from our November visit ( and defeat )

Part of me hopes not. The thought of Brian Kerr being responsible for us being relegated two seasons running would be pretty hard to take.

Trying to think ahead here.If we (ARFC) were to play Cove Rangers in play off final would our game in Aberdeenshire take place midweek or weekend .

He had one excellent game. The rest he was average. The excellent game was against East Fife though !!

I was 14 in 1981 and Fagan took us into the social club to see the Lanarkshire cup which we had recently won at Broomfield By the time I started drinking regularly in Coatbridge pubs a couple of years later I’m sure it had closed

I’m sure it was the night before our cup tie at East Fife and we didn’t actually find out until we arrived at Bayview. Was a very winnable game as well that .
