Have always been the split bus. Being somewhat advanced in years I remember the pre 1975 years when clubs like Motherwell were often by this time in the season left marooned in mid table ( often out the cup) and with little to play for. This reflected itself in attendance's which barely got above 2,000. I remember a game against Arbroath with a crowd approx 1800. Compare with this Saturday where a crowd of over 6,000 is likely.

Casey---- what a guy!!! Was everywhere on the pitch today including up front. His run covering the whole pitch which was completed by an inch perfect tackle to stop a threatening Dundee move will last with me forever. He is also an utter bampot which just adds to his lovlieness.

Wouldn't surprise me that having discarded VAR advice at the recent Motherwell/Celtic game he may have had this at the back of his mind on Saturday. Referees as we know don't like to go against their colleagues!!

Just putting it into the mix but I'm reliably informed that Bevis was to be dropped on Wednesday with Butcher replacing him. Butcher however got injured in training----yet another to add to the injury stats.

Never ceases to amaze me how fans can see performances differently. For my part I watched Favor closely last night and I thought he performed well. Never hiding he was always looking for the ball and creating. His substitution I put down to tactics or picking up an injury. Just my take on the wee man.

Hearing that Brophy wants to come to us. Brophy and agent pushing for this but Adams is against the move as it would be seen as helping a rival. Space this and watch come to mind.

From a reliable source Brophy is certainly being considered. Of course there is a yawning chasm between consideration and making a move.

A possible signing could be Brophy at Ross County. Injury prone!!

No need to add too much comment re our lack of strikers but let's not forget that Spittal is proving to be a big asset with his goals this season. Considering that he is a mid fielder to trade his goal return and overall performances have been very good. We still of course need additional strikers . Next week hopefully will bring joy.

The only hope is that Monty's injury has happened before the end of the window. Will SK test the water with Furlong?

Think he can as I believe he never featured for Thistle. Maybe rock up at Clyde.
