  1. An understandable link. If so that would just be the 6 strikers and 7 CB’s on the books and no one who can make a decent forward pass. Gets more depressing the more I think about it.
  2. For all parties concerned he needs to be playing games. As Celtic can’t loan him back would the sensible deal not be for us to pre agree a sale in the summer for £1m?
  3. Think it was fifespud who said a while back that O’Hara would be a shout up front. I’d be keen to see that experiment.
  4. We've had 3 clean sheets this Callander year and already you're happy to let our top centre half go? We need to do everything in our power to hang onto him and Kamara, getting them on longer deals if at all possible. Surely releasing some of our dead weight will get us back to a sound financial footing?
  5. I'm as pissed off as the rest of us at the performance and result yesterday. Before the game it was a must win. In hindsight however maybe it's not all bad? When Hartley lost 7 in a row at the start of the year I was crying out for a clean sheet. Similar situation and we have a clean sheet to avoid 6 defeats in a row. With O'Dea suspended we should be able to build on this, keep things solid at the back and put together a few results.
  6. Can't see why you wouldn't want to see McPake again? He done a good job for us when fit and also gave us some memorable moments!
  7. Where I scratch my head is that McCann has clearly identified the defence as being a problem, that's why he brought in Meekings and Hendry. The trouble is he seems more interested in getting them to pass and "play football" and less interested in getting them drilled at doing the necessary. The midfield has a part to play supporting the back 3/4 also of course. As pointed out in a few posts we need to score around 2/3 goals per game at the moment to even stand a chance of winning. At the moment we simply can't do that with our front line so clean sheets absolutely have to be a must!
  8. My point was that McCann isn't playing to our strengths and that's why I stated "personnel". Keep up.
  9. Totally agree with this. Our defence in terms of personal is brilliant, I think Hendry, Meekings, Waddell and Kerr would walk into a majority of SPL teams. We have to start shutting teams out. I don't give a f**k if we get 3/4 goalless draws in a row, at least then we'll have a platform to go on and win games.
  10. We may be more pleasing on the eye but it's a results business and because of that we're not better than last year. 11 games with no clean sheet and the weakest front line I've seen in years. Really hope McCann finds a solution soon as we have a squad big enough to turn it around. Think deacon just needs a goal or 2 to give him confidence and an praying Allan get back soon and shows what he's capable of!
  11. The more i think about it the more I scratch my head as to why McCann didn't keep the same 11 that started on Saturday. We bossed a majority of that game and if it were for 2 stupid error we'd have won it comfortably. Putting Haber in was an unnecessary mistake last night. If he felt he need to try him at least take Moussa out!
  12. Agree the defence and midfield look pretty good, that's why i find it hard to stomach that we keep conceding goals. We've clearly got little to offer up front so until January at least I'd love to see a few clean sheets and a couple of Kerr Waddell headers to nick a few wins.
