  1. Today was a credit to junior football. Fans paid £6 for some great entertainment. Both clubs had decisions go for and against them. Penalty for Peasy in the 5th minute def a pen. Pen for Cumbernauld def a pen. But overall the ref extremely poor for both teams. After the game plenty people saying our 2nd goal was over the line but equally same amount saying it wasn’t. We don’t have VAR unfortunately. Both teams, players a credit to the juniors and I don’t think it can be argued we deserved the win.
  2. What a game at Guys Meadow today. Peasy 2-0 up at half time then a quick 3rd goal in the 2nd half. We didn’t get going at all in the 1st half in all honesty down to Petershill closing us down well and stopping us passing. Second half the boys were absolutely magnificent, coming back from 3-0 down with 25 min to go to, especially against a well drilled Peasy team was great to see. Maybe a bit of uncertainty over the 2nd goal for us but don’t think anybody could deny us the win in the end. Goal came from a corner from the missed penalty. And also got to add the ref was hopeless throughout, not just for one team. No doubt Martin will turn things round at Petershill. Must have been sore for the Peasy but given what the chairman does for the post match hospitality wee bit disappointed nobody came up to the social club after the game.
  3. Cumbernauld striker John Cunningham is now available for transfer. Any clubs interested should contact chairman George Watson on 07977497605
  4. Couple of new signings for the club, Striker Johnny McStay signed from Lesmahagow Former Kilbirnie, Clydebank and Clyde winger Mark Burbidge has also joined. Delighted to get both players on board, welcome to the Nauld boys.
  5. Yes, it’s the same Scott Thomson. We’re delighted that he’s signed.
  6. That picture was taken 10 mins ago.
  7. Lots got plenty to say on here without actually seeing or seen the park recently. The parks been in superb condition for a couple of years now. Surface and surroundings. Rains been freakish yesterday and today, at this time of year the parks are solid, any rain sits on top.
  8. Our pitch is in great condition- your comment is ridiculous George has put in a tremendous amount of work to the pitch and the surroundings- maybe you should keep your mouth shut until you’ve been to the park and not be so disrespectful-but you seem to think yourself some what of a voice of authority on here so it’s not surprising The game may well be postponed depending on the weather but our park is in great condition and it’s not for the want of improvement or trying It’s certainly no different or worst than any other pitches and in most cases in better condition
