We don’t need a goalkeeper, we’ve got a very good replacement in the boy McMinn.

McMinn is a very good keeper, needs to play real football to develop further now, better than back up for Smith, he'll be there to challenge and will be more than capable. That's what good young goalies need to do now, take a side step rather than being a 3rd choice, good luck to the boy taking up the challenge and not just wanting to sit as a training goalkeeper.

Anyone at the development game last night? Heard the ref had a shocker wasted the game. Read he sent the goalkeeper, Lewis McMinn off, showed him a straight red card after the referee adjudged him to have handled the ball outside of the box. The young keeper was raging apparently as the decision was clearly wrong!

And the boy McMinn who I watched on Tuesday an able back up.

Mehmet wasn't given the chance he deserved. Can't understand why we are wasting money on developing another clubs keeper. Mehmet had to be replaced, no full time club can run with only 2 keepers, McMinn maybe not ready for first team but is more than capable of being a no2, I'd be happy with him and Thompson next season, but will still need another, nothing coming through academy I'm told.

When the Falkirk academy merged with the forth valley set up they got rid of their whole u17 squad, apart from the goalkeeper, McMinn. He then went to Rangers for a few seasons before coming back. So ur right there is a few years missing.

Our young goalkeeper today looked pretty promising I'd say as well as O'Hara, Gallagher, langton and blues.
