  1. Much as I agree the squad wouldn't get out of the championship without some work, I think it would be comfortably mid-table. Outside of the top 4 or 5 the championship isn't that high standard either. Arbroath barely laid a glove on us last weekend and they aren't getting thumped week in week out.
  2. Yeah but I would make the argument that the given the rules only apply to football players most of that squad wouldn't have counted anyway oweing to them being a bunch of beard and tattoo models who could barely run, let alone anything as coordinated as playing a bloody team sport.
  3. So you're saying we can absolutely stuff the team with unknown loan players from down south, literally as many as we want? Yeah, let's do that, nothing bad could happen i'm sure. Why do I sense ^ is a conversation that may have occurred at some point between Messrs Hartley and Mitch.
  4. Starting to get the fear we've replaced longridge with an immobile 32 year old from livi
  5. Don't think I can go to games if Goodwillie signs for us. It's one of those things that would simply call into question why I was going. To put it simply, I think the season ticket would be getting mailed back to the club with an explanation of precisely why I can no longer support them until he's binned. Tbh it would make me question my support of them full stop as I would find it difficult to be involved with an organisation that is okay employing rapists. Some things are bigger than football and this is one of them.
  6. Corporations and big business rubbing their hands together at the prospect of absolutely gutting the poorest in society of what little they have left due to rampant de-regulation, weakened worker's rights and a complete and total neglect for anyone vulnerable...............................and f**k Brexit too.
  7. 2-0 down to hibs at Easter Road, 86 minutes on the clock, down to ten men. The rest is 'Hibstory'. No matter what happens from here on in, we did not lose that game and that cost them 2nd place.
  8. He's the type of player that will look good if the team are absolutely flying and he can hide away from doing any graft work. The man does not like running. I'm guessing the thinking was that would be us this year, walking the league and thus able to carry a McShane and watch him stroll around with acres of space to play in. I know a lot on here don't like Connelly but he's leagues ahead of Miller in my opinion (based on what i've seen). With Gomis in the team, Miller is entirely redundant. We should be worrying a lot less about whether we'll concede and concerning ourselves with hammering in the goals. I'd rather watch us win games 5-2 than grinding out 1 goal wins while not looking like conceding but risk drawing every single game.
  9. Even just having bell instead of Fasan would have kept us up last season. The single worst goalkeeper I've seen in a Falkirk shirt.
  10. First question for the new manager at interview "do you intend to start 3 defensive miss against Airdrie? If so, please leave"
  11. Genuinely so happy this morning to read that MC has been told to do one. Whatever your opinion on the board this guy had the potential to absolutely destroy the club and I suspect whatever put Sunderland off has been discovered again here. The man just reeked of fraud. With regards to McKinnon I wasn't on board with the "he needs to go" sentiments, primarily because I fear some of the alternatives could be even worse, but last week's decision to substitute one of the two players who looked remotely on form is genuinely enough to have me questionning what planet he's living on. It was like watching Houston run out of ideas and then point the shotgun directly at his foot again during his latter stages as manager.
  12. Are you suggesting as something you've heard/been told or just out of curiosity of the level of bad that would be required to convince people?
  13. This was the only way I could think he could make money out of it, but also unsure how possible it is. That being said, in a world where you can use potential ticket sales to buy a club surely taking out loans against it seems viable.
  14. I should add that although i'm sceptical of this guy and genuinely don't think it seems right, ill be over the moon if i'm wrong about him. Would want nothing more than him to make the club as successful as he's making out.
  15. That's a bit of an odd way to reply. I can get him not commenting, but saying "unwise to comment" just has something off with it. It's like he's implying there are concerns that could be had and he doesn't know which ones have been found out.
