  1. An interview I did with St Mirren striker Calum Gallagher on Monday. Talks briefly about Falkirk game, the current season, differences between Alex Rae era and Ian Murray era as well as hopes/expectations for next season. Nothing special but would be great if you'd have a watch!
  2. St.Mirren 2015/2016 thread

A recent interview I did with St Mirren striker Calum Gallagher, conducted at their Ralston Training Centre. Nothing in-depth, just a quick 5 min chat about St Mirren's season and expectations for next season. Would be great if you'd have a watch!
  3. And aye, forgot about the League Cup. Makes things even worse.
  4. There should never be any postponements to the league schedule. The fixtures are decided and you should play them. End of. However, this ICC tournament is dumb (in Celtic's case anyway) - it's stupid that they're holding the tournament at all, never mind from the end of July to the middle of August. If you take that out of the mix, then maybe Celtic would do better in Europe (and wouldn't have to postpone league games). When you take into account Euro 2016, Champions League qualifiers etc (may I add, tournaments which must take place), it's all too much for clubs like Celtic. Another argument, which I won't go into, is that 1st place in the Scottish Prem doesn't at least get straight into the play-offs or even into the group stage. Basically, Celtic only accepted their invitation because they're far more interested in the financial gains of the ICC as opposed to their performance in the Champions League qualifiers, which is a real shame. They have enough money as it is anyway.
  5. Post Split 2016

Just spent about 10 mins of my Monday afternoon calculating this so please appreciate my efforts... Going by the table rn and fixtures to come, I think the battle for 6th will involve Well + Dundee. So going by the fixtures we've played (and yes, ik this won't be the way the SPFL cronies will base their decisions on), we'll be due 3 home/2 away games if Motherwell finish 7th. If Dundee finish 7th, then we'll be due 2 home/3 away games. If Well finish 7th : Partick (H) Hamilton (A) Dundee Utd (H) Motherwell (H) ICT (A) If Dundee finish 7th : Partick (H) Hamilton (A) Dundee Utd (H) Dundee (A) ICT (A) That's the logical process but I guarantee that will not be the final fixtures...
  6. Whose Going Down?

Despite the fact that Hibs are a bunch of bottle merchants, I still think we'd lose to them over 2 legs. We beat Hibs in the 13/14 play-offs because firstly they were, at the time, on a complete downward spiral/losing every week and secondly, we had a striker in Kris Boyd who scored 20+ goals for us that season and ended up scoring the winner at Easter Road. This time around, I have little hope. We can't score, have nothing creative-wise in midfield and we are shambolic at the back. At least Hibs have a few goalscorers and a couple of decent midfielders... Essentially, if we are to end up facing Hibs, I'm 90% sure we'll lose.
  7. Kilmarnock v Celtic

That sounds about right. We'll probably nick a scrappy goal that levels the game at 1-1 before capitulating completely and gifting the 3 points to Celtic. However, hopefully I'm proved wrong.
  8. Sons' sorrow

I'll try and give as much information on how he plays as I can... - Poacher who plays on the shoulder. - Has no pace and can't really run. - Can accumulate a fair few yellow cards (well, he did at us). - Give him the ball in the box and he'll probably put it away. - Hot and cold kind of player. So if he hits the ground running, he might get you a few goals. If not, then he'll probably turn out to be a very underwhelming signing.

  10. Current Alan HaMood: We're 2nd bottom + going down kinda mood.

  11. The Great Big Kilmarnock Thread

Findlay is performing well for us, a sound loan signing. He's calm on the ball and likes a tackle too, fearless. This coming season will be significant to his development. On current form and also considering Celtic's atrocious defending of late, he would walk into their team.
