  1. It’s a bold call making the move to pull the trigger on Robbie Horn’s time at the club unless they have someone already lined up? The problem is, who wants to take charge of a side in serious decline and likely to drop out the SPFL? Bonnyrigg absolutely need to get someone who knows League 2 football and not some EoS jobber. I’d say that would rule out John Hughes - plus I don’t think he’d take the job. Who else would be in contention; Greig McDonald, Stevie Crawford (having left Rosyth), Alan Maybury or it is time for ‘Duffyball’ with Jim Duffy? Alternatively, Gary Locke would be box office stuff. Emergency Loan from Hearts’ Gorgie Suite until the summer.
  2. It’s rumoured on Hearts forum Jambos Kickback that we are set to let centre back Lewis Neilson join you on loan. Is he likely to get regular game time straight away or will he have to bide his time?
  3. As a Dalkeith native myself, I reckon that’s probably a good place to head to if you want to go with a coach load and book into a pub or have more eating options if you are looking to make a day of it as I imagine Boomtown will be fairly busy. (Anvil, Calderwood especially). Dalkeith pubs where you’d be able to book a coach load into, I’d say; - Black Bull (has food aswell) - Coach and Horses (doesn’t show football) - Ship Inn - The Buccleugh (has food although this is now a Dalkeith Celtic supporters club - be warned) All the above show football with exception of the Coach. Food places - There’s a plethora of quick eats like Greggs, Baynes, Baguette Express and a few cafes. - There’s 3x Indian Restaurants, 1x Italian and 1x Chinese as well. There’s public parking behind the Morrisons next to Midlothian Indoor Bowling Club or you’d be fine parking in Morrisons tbf. The Lothian buses (49 and 140) go from Dalkeith up to the ground, takes about 10 minutes and you can pay by card. Think it’s £1.80 a single. Or you should be able to get a taxi up for about a tenner.
  4. Not taking the piss here, but these FTV commentators could get themselves into hot water about the comments about the referee. He’s not been the greatest but would expect better from officials (volunteers) linked to the club. Did Tom Boyd not get pulled up by the Compliance Officer for his comments about a ref on Celtic TV.
  5. First time I’ve heard the Falkirk TV commentators live and i’ve not been disappointed. ”THE REFEREE HAS BEEN SHAMBOLIC!” a particular highlight.
  6. Surely an opportunity for RossMo’sPlan after the Massmorran plant along the road.
  7. According to a Pars Hall of Famer in a bar tonight in Edinburgh, your board are meeting tomorrow (Monday) to decide on your new manager.
  8. Think he’s going on loan to a Championship/League 1 team that’s part time so he can still train with Craig Gordon and get his game time at a higher level than League 2. We’ve already had 2x offers from Championship teams and my guess is that he will go to Arbroath on loan.
  9. I was told last night by someone who is fairly in the know with all things Hearts that Naysmith could likely end up at Inverness.
