  1. I see tickets for Hearts away on the 23rd are sold out already. Anyone know if they are likely to release more or do we only get the bare minimum at tynecastle?
  2. Got 2 tickets spare for this game I’m selling. South stand upper, section M3, padded seats. Seats are together. £80 for both or £40 for 1.
  3. Looking at the number of seats left available today I have given up any hope of being able to get a ticket in the general sale on Monday. Any suggestions for best pubs to watch Scotland games in these days in Glasgow?
  4. Brophy scored 9 in the league last season (short season), 11 and 7 the seasons before. St Mirren's top scorers in the premiership in the last 10 years have been Obika with 8 last season and to get better than that you need to go back to Steven Thompson who scored 13 for 3 seasons in a row and Higdon who got 14 in 2010/11. So to sign a player with a proven record in your league better than anyone you've had for 6 or 7 years is a good signing, especially since he's still only 24. Erwin and Dennis haven't showed anything to suggest they are good enough to be the 2nd choice striker so delighted we've brought in a proven goalscorer.
  5. Exactly, McGrath and Connolly are the only 2 that have shown glimpses of being able to be dangerous and create something going forward. Durmus hasn't shown it this season but he can beat a man and get a good cross in, we need to give them a chance to do it.
  6. If Goodwin sets up like he did against Killie I think I'll just turn it off, we can't just let the opposition have the ball and hope they don't break us down for 90 mins and we can maybe get a goal from a set piece. Is Tait still suspended for this one? If so I'd play Erhahon at full back, put Macpherson in the middle with Foley and McGrath and play Durmus and Connolly on the wings with Erwin up top. Let Connolly and Durmus run at the defence and get balls across the defence and crosses in to Erwin.
  7. Thought we played ok but it was a good opportunity to get 3 points. It was the same as the 2nd half against Aberdeen on Saturday, once St Johnstone went down to 10 men and sat in for the draw we couldn't pass through them and never looked like scoring. We did create a good amount of chances though and on another day one of them would have went in. As others have said Goodwins substitutions are baffling at times, I thought dropping Macpherson for Wallace worked well but it's beyond me why Andreu is always brought on and Morias is simply not good enough. I'm not a big fan of Mcallister, he hasn't produced all season, but it was a game crying out for a player like him, especially once they went down to 10 men. At the end of the day 4 points from Motherwell away and St Johnstone at home is good, we've just been unfortunate that Hamilton and Hearts won. Hearts game next Wednesday is huge now.
  8. Glad I decided to go last night that was a rollercoaster.. certainly worth £12. Watching the highlights Obika took his goals really well, he's a good finisher when he doesn't have time to think about it. Thought Goodwin got it all wrong after HT, he obviously was thinking of Friday night when taking off Jakubiak and Durmus but Morias and Andreu were not what we needed. Obika was dead on his feet from about 70 mins and we were just punting the ball up to him whenever we won it back, Motherwell were getting it back on the half way line and we couldn't get out our half. Goodwin clearly doesn't rate Mullen and Chabbi isn't fit but why not use the 4th sub when we are playing 120mins with another game in 3 days time. Main thing is we got through though and a home tie to get to Hampden. Jak and Obika look like a good combination up front, hopefully Obika recovers in time for Friday night. P.S - Hladky has faced 9 penalties in shootouts for us and only conceded 2 goals!
  9. Planning on driving tonight if it's on, how easy is it to get parked near the away end?
  10. McGinn is a better left back than Waters despite being a right back. I'd play Flynn at RB and McGinn LB and Bring in McGrath or Andreu.
  11. Well poised after 2 weeks, only 1 team on 2-0 and 1 on 0-2.
  12. Hope we have real go at them, our defence is really week, we're at home and have strong attacking midfielders so lets take the game to Russia.
  13. I'm not seeing this re-join button? What's the actual name of the group can't see anything when I search for Pie and Bovril.
  14. The perils of missing the draft! I had one QB.. who then decided to retire.
  15. Is Waivers open? It is saying locked next to all the free agents and when you click it says "draft has not yet taken place".
  16. That's me yeh, sorry something came up and I totally forgot about the draft.
  17. Are we going with this Sunday at 8pm for the draft then?
  18. When McAllister came on Paul Mcginn was left with 2 men every time as Mcallister wasn't tracking the Aberdeen left back, that's why Niall McGinn was wide open.
