If Vaulks is away then fair play to the lad. Played for free initially as we couldn't afford to offer him a wage. He's become captain and a firm favourite with the fans. He's also chipped in with some massive goals. I'll never be annoyed with a Bairn leaving to make their money at a higher level. Sad to see him go but that's football. COYB

If the Austin noise is true it's really exciting for the club and fans. Reminds me of when we signed Gow, proper sought after talent from the lower leagues. Seems to be endless good times / news about the club just now. Feels brilliant, can't wait for Sunday!

Doubt Vaulks will end up at another Scottish Club. The only team that could feasibly afford him would be Celtic, and I can't see that happening. I think he'll see out the season with us and move down south for a very tidy 6 figure sum in the summer, adopting cult hero status amongst some fans for years to come.

For us to plummet to 5th would take relegation form, which almost definitely isn't going to happen. You're probably not aware but we're currently 17 point ahead of 5th. (5 wins and 2 draws) I suggest you survey the league table next time!

We're flying and it feels great, I didn't realise until tonight we've only conceded 3 goals at home in the league all season. Outstanding stuff. Proud to be a Bairn.
