Today's players are nothing like it was when I started playing ams and I'm only 36 One player had the cheek to moan because I absolutely battered them at training after they got hammered the game before My whole week was geared towards being either the hardest working player at training or being that good the gaffer couldn't leave me out. Now it's a case of "if I'm dropped f**k it I'll no be back"

It's a pointless argument as imo the junior/lowland league team have nothing to gain as it's a training game to them essentially where as the ams team treats it like a cup final as they feel they have a point to prove. I know Craigshill, Linlithgow and my own team have beat junior, EOS and lowland league teams in past couple seasons but over a sustained period ie league season you'd fancy the "higher" opposition to come out on top more than not

Played Cutty 2 seasons ago in 3rd round and their was easy 150-200 round the park. Was a great atmosphere and class banter. Tipped Argyle to win it early on after hearing they got a few Fairfield boys in
