  1. Might not be suitable for this particular discussion but heading to Doune The Rabbit Hole for the first time tomorrow. Full four days. Heard brilliant things and the line up is smashing. I was a big fan of Electric Fields before it finished up so hoping this ticks the boxes. Any general feedback/advice on it always welcome!
  2. What do we reckon the attendance will be tomorrow? Despite the lasting flat feeling from last week, three big results and performances would be a big boost over next few days. A confident win tomorrow would certainly be a good start...
  3. Nice to see unnamed board members finally making an appearance on this forum and interacting with fans eh...
  4. We continue to push the board on this issue and continuously get ignored or palmed off...until they come crawling to us for money. Again. Our club is in danger on and off the park due to the current board.
  5. Perhaps not the most exciting but heading to Blackpool v Sunderland on Saturday afternoon. First time heading to Bloomfield Rd and first time in Blackpool for years. Looking forward to it. Any recent experiences of the place and/or decent pre match pubs?
  6. Safe to say it's the most excited we've been about a Clyde team in a long time. Let's hope there are no more false dawns. Huge well done to everyone involved in the recruitment process. As briefly mentioned, some sprinkles of experience still needed but with a few tweaks I don't see why we can't win this league. It's looking like it'll be our best chance yet.
  7. Without a doubt. Mostly take shifts on a Saturday in order to cash in on the Sunday pub option.
  8. The pub on a Sunday after travelling the length of the country working yesterday. Most underrated day to bevy.
  9. It's taken me a day or so of calm (and beer...) to recover from what was an absolute embarrassment on Saturday. In 15+ years home and away, Saturday was up there with the worst. Of course there are other candidates in locations such as Montrose and Dumfries but Saturday was something else. Never have I seen a Clyde team care less. Every player looked like they couldn't wait to be home and can we blame them? A happier place where they are not shot of confidence or lambasted constantly by a power hungry, egotistical 'manager'. Yes, the players must share the blame but if I worked full-time, had a family etc etc then had to endure the mess that goes on behind the scenes at our club on top of that...I would probably try get myself sent off on purpose too...which there was a few cases of on Saturday. Yet again, we need a complete change from top to bottom at our club. What a shock. We need switched on leaders on and off the park and with the current regime, I just don't see a happy ending. As always, l'll be at Annan on Saturday. However, a defeat should spell the end for not just a manager who has had too many chances...but some on the apparent 'board' too.
  10. Scott Durie training with us today it appears. From what I've read you guys didn't rate him much last year? I reckon he'd be a very decent squad player in this league.
  11. I stopped watching Dr Who when Smith took over. Simply not a fan as it seemed very childlike and Smiths characteristics and boyish nature actually annoyed me slightly. However, I loved last nights episode. All three worked well wonderfully. Very much looking forward to the Capaldi era kicking off!
  12. Paramore in Manchester on Friday night. Just thought 'f**k it' and got the VIP tickets (early entry, barrier, t shirt etc etc) price was very good for all it's perks. Very much looking forward to it despite the 6am bus!
  13. Bon Jovi rocking Hampden tonight. Very much looking forward to it. Big gigs such as this are often long days but that feeling is swept aside when such quality acts are being viewed!
