  1. When 3 of the originally scheduled 4 opening games of the season (now 4 out of 5) are away from home, and the one home game isn't against one of the teams that will bring a bigger, more lucrative support, then I dare say someone at Queen's might have made a few suggestions.
  2. Can get into some of the other forums, couldn't get into General Nonsense but got into others in that section (eg. Politics). Can get into Other Football, can't get into any SPFL.
  3. I've signed out and signed back in, and signed out of Recently Used Devices as above, but when I sign back in and try to access an individual forum (eg Scottish Championship General Chat) I get a 'This page isn't working' HTTP ERROR 500 message. I can get onto the forum ok when not signed in.
  4. The more time passes, the more I come to think that answers to these questions don't exist.
  5. This is the thing. They could nip most of the anger and frustration in the bud by being upfront about these things. Folk would still be a bit pissed off, but at least they'd know what was happening and understand the reasons behind decisions. For some unobvious reason they continually choose not to do that. There's plenty of examples of this kind of thing over the last couple of years and you begin to think it's because they genuinely don't give two hoots about the current support.
  6. Glasgow Uni were playing WoSFL games there last season. Not sure if that's still the case for 2022/23 but could well be.
  7. Like a BBC mini-series shown over consecutive nights on a Bank Holiday weekend
  8. The whole Avocet album for me. Any time I feel it's all getting too much that record can bring me back to earth. Edit: Just realised this is top 5s! Morning Brings Sweet Peace of Mind Avocet Veronica Fresh as a Sweet Sunday Morning The Quiet Joys of Brotherhood
  9. https://www.stmirren.com/all-news/4334-dylan-reid-returns-from-queen-s-park A strange situation. At Queen's for a month, couldn't play for St Mirren when he went back.
  10. Article in today's Guardian: https://www.theguardian.com/music/2022/apr/27/half-man-half-biscuit-fanatical-followers-ashes-wirral-dukla-prague-tranmere-rovers-subbuteo A lot of the usual old stuff, but nice stories of fans, ruminations on middle-aged fandom and suchlike. I'm beginning to consider making plans to get to one of their gigs later in the year, and really regretting that I didn't know about Friday's upcoming gig in Durham until two days ago as that would be the easiest one to get to. Really enjoying The Voltarol Years, their best in a while if you ask me.
  11. What the world needs now is love, sweet love. Or so I've been told.
  12. Hibs are a point off 9th. I wouldn't use them as a barometer. I, for one, have relished watching the Boris the Spider vs an86 feud develop over the last couple of weeks.
  13. The corridor's the last place anyone wants a barging
  14. Where has this recent weird obsession with other club's attendance figures come from? Mind when folk used to just go to games and support their own teams without counting numbers of empty seats? Well done to everyone who goes to games, whatever size of crowd they're in.
  15. Brown envelopes in SPFL board members' inboxes, obviously.
  16. I've not been to many games this season, so I can't really comment on how Queen's have been playing, but for folks saying they should be happy being in 2nd and a point off the top, it's notable that 3 of the 5 league wins this season came in August. Clearly there's been a drop off in results over the last couple of months and if that continues QP won't be lingering around the top for much longer in such a tight league.
  17. Looks like it, going by this: https://coverangersfc.com/2021/10/25/next-up-queens-park-h/
  18. I understand that a decomposing fox corpse has been successfully removed from the site
  19. That's it eh? How many at the club are looking at folks' genuine concerns and thinking "we really need to do something to improve this" and how many are going "moany b*****ds"? Can probably hazard a guess where the majority are.
  20. A double for 'exciting and innovative' (or vice versa)
  21. £150. For that you ended up having the opportunity to stream 11 home league games, which would have cost £110 to purchase individually. No mention of a refund or an indication there might be a reduction to this season's prices. I know not everyone would want to take it up if there was, but an acknowledgment would be nice.
