  1. Was just away to post this following today's presser with the manager. O also grabbed a word with Lewis Vaughan and he said he was a Raith player until the summer and is fully concentrated on Saturday's match vs Stenhousemuir... He did say though "you never know what can happen" and when asked about potentially extending his stay beyond the summer, he was cautious, coy and seemed slightly uncomfortable, IMO. I'm not convinced he will go just now but if he starts scoring and assisting again, as well as proving his fitness / injury issues are once more behind him, I can't see him remaining with Raith past the summer, promotion or not.
  2. As well as chatting with the managers following Tuesday night's match, I also managed to grab a word with two of your best performers, IMO, from the Queen's Park match, post-match, too. I spoke with: Robbie Deas Jason Talbot That was the first time I've saw Robbie play and I thought he was absolutely excellent. Solid as a rock and a mature performance for his age and experience. I know all about Jason and what qualities he possesses. Has he been as good as expected since joining? I'm still surprised a League One side didn't come in for him, but, that's to your gain.
  3. Thanks for that. Sounds like the right decision for both parties to mutually part ways, then. He was saying you guys have a few injuries at the moment so it says a lot about the squad you've got in place and the strength available to the management team, if you can afford to let a squad player leave when you're already short on bodies. How's Callum Smith getting on?
  4. I chatted with your new signing, Finn Graham this week about his short-term move to New Central Park. He seems really excited about the prospect of playing regularly again. He had a lot of potential while at EEP as a youngster and has done well with Brechin at Championship level too. He should be far too good for SLFL level and will form a good partnership with ex-team-mate, Stephen Husband, in the middle too. If you guys can convince him to sign on for longer, it'll be a coup indeed, IMO, at least.
  5. I was speaking to your former player Finn Graham this week about his move to Kelty Hearts. How'd it not work out with you guys? Was it just too many good options ahead of him? He seemed to do really well at Brechin and had a lot of potential when he was with Dunfermline as a youngster, but was let go when AJ originally joined. He praises your manager a lot for helping him secure his release early - I think that says a lot about your club and the people running it. All the Best for the rest of the season.
  6. I chatted with your new Assistant Manager, Martin Hardie, recently about re-uniting with former team-mate Kevin Rutkiewicz. Click Here to read the article. All the Best; two former fans favourites of Pars supporters!
  7. Interview with Kevin Nisbet after he received his SPFL Ladbrokes League One Player of the Month award for October yesterday. Tbh, he came to Kirkcaldy with a poor reputation and he admitted himself pre-season that this was a big campaign for him and he's certainly taking his opportunity. Pressure on him now to keep this going. League One seems to be a good breeding ground for young and unproven strikers and Nisbet is looking likely to follow in the footsteps of players such as Lawrence Shankland ... All the Best to Kevin and yourselves!
  8. Full and Extensive Interview with your new manager Barry Ferguson is available on my website, here. Yesterday was the first time I had met and spoken with BF and I must say, I was very impressed. He was one of the nicest, friendliest and most accommodating managers I've met to date. I wish Kelty Hearts all the best for the remainder of this season.
  9. Interview with Barry Ferguson after taking over at Kelty Hearts. First time I've met / spoken with Barry and he is one of the nicest, most accommodating and friendliest managers I've interviewed to date. Wish him well in his new role.
  10. Hi, I spoke with your ex-defender Danny Devine recently for the Official DAFC Match-Day Programme. Amongst other things, he speaks about his time at Partick Thistle. He started the season off well as the left centre back of a 3 but was taken off against Ayr after 30 mins and has rarely featured since, mainly due to injury and then illness, but, probably also due to what seems lime a falling out with the manager, after being unhappy at getting replaced against Ayr. I think he's a good defender for this level and I feel her one of Dunfermline's best defenders this season, too. Link. Thanks.
  11. Hi, I conducted an interview with Danny Devine for the Official DAFC Match-Day Programme recently. He speaks about his time with Inverness, amongst other things. He's a player I think is pretty good for this level. Started the season off well as the left centre back within a 3 but got taken off versus Ayr after half an hour and has barely featured since due to injury, illness and probably a bit of a falling out with the manager (he wasn't happy at being subbed versus Ayr!). Hopefully he's back on form soon as I believe he's one of our best defenders. Link. Thanks.
  12. Hi, There is an article on my website with Jackson Longridge which I conducted on behalf of the Official Dunfermline Athletic Football Club Match-Day Programme. Jackson spoke about his time at Livi; the influence of David Hopkin and why he chose to remain in the Championship... Thanks, All the Best for the season!
  13. Hi, There is an article on my website with Jackson Longridge which I conducted on behalf of the Official Dunfermline Athletic Football Club Match-Day Programme. Jackson spoke about his career to date, including how Stranraer helped him find his feet and kick start his career. Thanks, All the Best for the season!
  14. Good luck to you guys today and for the rest of the season. Last year was another great achievement and yous deserve this opportunity to test yourselves at the top. I'm absolutely delighted for Shaun Byrne who I know personally: he's been through a lot in his life but Livi have got him back to his best and more and I'm so happy for him to be a major part of your club. As I said in the Podcast I produced, I think yous have strengthened with a bit of balls in terms of continuing the mantra of recruitment which has worked over the past 2 years rather than just chucking silly money at it. I genuinely hope it works out for yous and I'll be watching your scores avidly each week. Cheers!
