where do the clubs get the money if no crowds no shop no hospitality? i accept some clubs have money in the bank [not many] but even these clubs would struggle after a few weeks of no income. if no supporters are allowed the only teams surviving will be be the two or three with "sugar daddies" or the bottom clubs run on a basically amateur status. would you accept this scenario or prefer to wait until it is possible to return to something like normal and allow clubs to survive.

is it still the intention to begin non league on 11th october or is it put back three weeks like everything else. i would like other posters opinion but really want something official.

completely agree, until crowds are allowed non league should be postponed . even cost of training let alone covid prevention puts clubs in deep trouble

with regard to players turning up ready, going home after the game i dont think this is feasible. a lot of glasgow based players are with ayrshire teams and a forty mile drive home after playing in a downpour is just not going to happen. also as a/lie1981 says some teams may not be able to keep to the guidelines for whatever reason so how would a league work if a quarter or so of the teams cannot play .i fear it wil have to be all or none

i agree some clubs could manage to cope with restrictions but some wont. how can you have a league competition when some of your opponents will not be able to play. it has to be all or none

i believe there is a zoom meeting at the end of next week to install office bearers etc. when formed the new committee can then proceed to sort out any problems or rule breaches.

as i have said before letting supporters in is not the problem at this level. social distancing in changing rooms , hospitality and refreshments are . without the last two it is impossible to keep clubs solvent as gate receipts are not enough to cover outlay.

if it is by with then the new wosl is dead in the water. they would have lost all credibility and any team could do what they want and use "the darvel" defence

one problem playing outstanding scot cup ties is player registration. players may have moved teams and are inelligible . if your team had signed a player from one of the semi-finalists would they let him return to his former club to play a game or maybe two and risk injury. only way out is to cancel this years cup .

i hate to burst scotty d,s bubble but if you read the rules clubs are responsible for the actions of their supporters

i only asked as the 20 team league came about because three teams were declared champions etc. of the championship and with no relegation it was felt unfair they did not get promoted but if the season was declared null and void they would not be due promotion therefor a 17 team league.

i may have missed it but what happened to the investigation into the null and void decision of the west region and would that have any impact on the 20 team league situation

pretty sure glenafton have retained SJFA membership
