I had the exact same realisation when I hit 36, I remember as a bairn looking at the players at that age, they all seemed like ancient journeymen, well past it.
Just started watching The Missing and said to the wife that John Hannah had a terrible Norn Irish accent. Turns out it's James Nesbitt. It's the accent itself which is awful.

I had read that the remake of Funny Games was identical to the original, so never really bothered with it. Been a while since I saw It though, so I suppose this is a good time to get it watched.
