  1. Not posted here before so here goes on a couple of recent completes:

    Ghost Recon Wildlands

In spite of the 6 or 7 out of 10 reviews for this game i was always drawn to it so went for it.  Good decision.  I thoroughly enjoyed it (single player not co-op).  Good enough storyline, good set pieces, interesting world.  I think this is my first open world where i have literally hunted own every single collectable and side mission.   I have seen an accusation of the game being repetitive and i can see what is meant but didn't affect my enjoyment.

Very good and now trying to work out which other Tom Clancy games i should play.

    9/10

    Horizon Zero Dawn

Another signed up member of the fan club here.  I only played it because it came out on PS Plus.  Excellent game with lots going on.  I thought the story line was boring and actually fairly unnecessary as this game is all about the machines.  Game maybe got slightly grindy later on but just a brilliant gaming experience and well worth taking on.

    9/10

  2. Is anyone else on etoro? It’s one of these high risk spread betting on derivatives things. The difference is that it is done as a social platform so you can basically follow the successful traders (rather than ploughing in in glorious ignorance). You basically copy the trades of the top dogs. I have not gone mad and have put in money I could afford to lose but after 6 months I must be circa 30% up. It’s quite good fun too. Worth a look.

  3. So has Peter, it's so Partridge it's amazing.

I work in the same building as where they film the show. I can confirm the sponsored car thing.

Peter is a very nice guy, loads of time for everyone.

Our car park provides an interesting game of 'spot the old firm dud' most days which is good.
  4. Finished left behind today. Definitely a bit of an add on and not in the league of the main game.

I have been playing overwatch online (early days) but might give factions a go based on some of the comments in this thread. I am generally hopeless at online gaming (at 36 am I too old?!) but overwatch feels like a fairer playing field than BF and COD.

  5. I find this whole thing amazing. Every sevconian I know buying into this crowd pleasing nonsense that this latest crooked spiv is coming up with and they hail him as the saviour. It would be an odd reaction for any football support but if anyone should be on guard for crooked spivs then surely the orcs should be that group. Somehow being part of the original car crash is seen as a good thing? In getting this latest saviour in the door they have also managed to chase away the one guy who has any money - ok he might look for a bit of reward for taking on all the risk but at least he has a fighting chance of keeping the tribute act going past Easter!

Very interesting days ahead, I could be wrong but I increasingly suspect that this guy has about as much ready cash as me and is going to find a serious gap in the old cashflow when he goes to his work on Monday morning......

  6. Did nobody else heAr the rumour that Pardew is on an odd package cause he turned up with £~2m gambling debts. Ashley cleared them and pays Pardew a nominal salary (I heard £40k but who knows). This was why pardew got an 8 year deal which is obviously unheard of but much more understandable when paying such a low manager salary. No idea if true but its a good rumour.

I think McCoist, McDowell and limpalot are worth every penny.....

  7. you seriously can't believe Scottish football will flourish without a strong Rangers at the forefront.

That is the myth endlessly peddled by the MSM and fellow orcs. It simply isn't true. This season's premier league has been one of the most enjoyable and competitive for years (including higher attendances btw). Scottish football would be far better off if Sevco never made it back to the top league.

  8. I have no objection to these people hiring the big hall at SECC and filling their boots for a day or even weekend. The problem is that wont ever be done because it won't achieve the desired gerritrightfuckingupye which is the entire purpose of the marches.

It makes me utterly furious that almost 20 years after Mark Scott (my personal brush with Glasgow's shame) this pish is still happening.

I would bet over 90% of voters would agree that it should have been banned or at least cut down years ago so why won't any politician grab this shitty stick and deal with it?
