  1. I agree with most of the above. If his development is stuck in a rut it's better for both parties that he moves on ( & out of his comfort zone).
  2. Good day out and a nice ground, well maintained terraces & viewpoints all round the pitch. The best of the newer teams grounds I've been to.
  3. Are Morton keeping him on? I know he's young but he's not shown nearly enough over the first half of the season.
  4. Did Hughes really just say Dunfermline were the best team apart from the first 5 minutes???? & this could be best thing that's happened to the team. Wow!
  5. Getting caught up in a loop on my phone trying to buy this one to attend, been going in circles for 20 minutes so probably not happening.
  6. Now that I know the Chevron have gone I'll order the long sleeved one.
  7. It's not monochrome Morton, (though it could be Morton the last time they won a major trophy & got photographs taken). Ayr had loads of hooped shirts down the years, albeit some time ago. You're as well calling it monochrome Hamilton (or Celtic) . A bit like Morton sometimes had vertical stripes and Killie sometimes had hoops. When I first became aware of Gretna they wore black & white hoops.
  8. The only issue I have with any of this is the way that Telfer has been caught in the middle through no fault of his own.
  9. Management team were a failed gamble. Glad they're gone, gives more of a clean slate for whoever's next. Good start to the day.
  10. There was no notice period as the contracts were fixed term either ending at the contracts end or by mutual agreement. There was no fixed release value clause, they weren't released. The individuals involved have broken their contracts. If they were players their registrations would prevent this situation, as management I don't know what recourse is available.
  11. Tackles well, good short passer, runs all day/ high energy levels, good shot from distance, didn't give the ball away much, would have been more happy if we'd kept him, should do well,.
  12. Time for this to reappear The perfect thread for all the infighting bollocks all our other threads are getting full of...
  13. That ones lost me. Unless it's used for sunbathing, a roof reflects & contains the noise of the crowd back in and adds to the atmosphere.
  14. The steel from st Mirren is not suitable for the Sinclair St end &, wasn't big enough for the WDE. It needed @ the top 6 rows removed to fit according to the planning application at the time.
  15. He scored goals for fun in our development squad but was never a first team regular starter or even substitute though he was on the bench regularly. He did show a lot of talent on his occasional appearances. I believe his lack of athleticism was the issue.
  16. Scullion is gifted but obviously not athletic. He never really got a run of games with Morton at any point & didn't generally set the heather alight when he did play but you could tell there was something there. They kept giving him short contract extensions even when he wasn't playing, it looked from outside as if he was being given every chance to get fitter but it wasn't happening. Gifted on the ball though.
  17. Was a good passer of the ball latterly with us, was disappointed when he went to Carlisle.
  18. Unlucky today guys, penalty was soft, had the better of most of the first half finished stronger than us at the end, good luck going forward.
  19. All of the above plus, is he pished or senile. (Just for once this feels justified eather than just abuse).
  20. It's been dead on its feet for some time, problem is we'd nothing better. Hopefully going forward with a better club website we won't need it to find out the basics every week.
