  1. Have to say i was very impressed watching today. West Brom looked a good side, passed the ball well, and took their chances. Liverpool were just poor. Can change managers all you want, but unless you turn the playing squad over, the results will always be the same.
  2. The book is part of a trilogy, so unless you really hated it - i'd keep reading. The first part was really just setting the scene for the main part of the story that happens in the other 2 books, and introducing characters.
  3. Looks like your nightmares are 1 game away from becoming reality. Also looks like i jinxed the Sharks. Hopefully Philly win, as then there will be another parade for a winning team, making it 2 in the 3 years since i moved there.
  4. I think it shows that you should never go 3-0 up against the Flyers. Great comeback from them - and they are a team with a lot of injured stars too. Should be an interesting final, but if you are a Sharks fan you must be rubbing your hands with glee at all the bigger teams who have lost in the East. Could this be the lowest seeded Eastern conference final there has ever been?
  5. Flyers win it - possibly because of the Rangers stalling and "playing for the shootout"
  6. I didn't have the recipe on my - but managed to find it online hence the edit you cheeky fucker.
  7. We use this recipe for our ribs:- 2 pounds pork baby back ribs 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 2 1/2 cups barbecue sauce (not mesquite flavored - we use Kraft honey bbq) 1 jar (8 oz. size) cherry jam or preserves 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 1/4 teaspoon salt Additional salt and black pepper (optional) Turn this recipe into a puzzle! [click] Directions: Trim excess fat from ribs. Rub 1 teaspoon pepper over ribs. Cut ribs into 2 rib portions; place in crock pot/slow cooker. Combine barbecue sauce, jam, mustard and 1/4 teaspoon salt in small bowl; pour over ribs. Cover; cook on LOW heat setting 6 to 8 hours or until ribs are tender. Season with additional salt and pepper, if desired. Serve ribs with sauce.
  8. We have one and love it. There is a great Ribs recipe that we always cook in it, the meat really does just fall off the bones, and the sauce is fantastic. Mostly we use it to make stews and things, like everyone else does, and the last thing we make a lot is a "triple chocolate hot chocolate" - especially in the winter. I'd definitely recommend everyone that enjoys home cooked food to buy one. p.s. thanks for that chicken and bacon recipe reina, thatll be the next one i try
  9. The Stephen Lee vs Stephen Mcguire one is also interesting as haven't both been embrloiled/accused/involved with games with irregular betting recently?
  10. There seems to be a lot of nastiness between the 2 teams. I only watched the first period, but Caracillo did an excellent job of getting the 4 minute penalty, then after the Mapleleafs had managed to hold off from giving up a goal, Orr (Who got the penalty on Carcillo) went straight back into the penalty box for another penalty. The Maple Leafs were very poor in that first period in terms of discipline, and with only 1 goal it was disappointing really for the Flyers. They held on though, and are still in that battle for a playoff spot. Don't think they will go far however.
  11. THere is absolutely nothing wrong with Philadelphia...........
  12. Philadelphia Flyers. Their "goalkeeper" is called Leighton.
  13. And because of that temperament - he can't be considered the best ever. (at least not in my opinion). Best raw talent - there probably isn't a doubt.
